I finally did it- Disney Princess Cart

Well after having Disney Dreams Come True cartridge for over a year or so I finally decided to give it a try. Don't get me wrong I have opened it, looked through the cuts, decided what to do, and put it away. I have heard many other bloggers say that these cut are very hard to manage if you cut the image to small.

I tried cutting Daisy from Disney Mickey and friend before at 5 inches, but, I was devastated on how horrible she looked after and on how some of my cuts didn't work out because of its size. So that when I really gave up.

But my niece (turning 6) is having a Disney Princess Bday party tomorrow afternoon, and I couldn't go with out giving this cartridge one more try. For my niece, ANYTHING!!!

So I cut out her absolute most favorite princess of all, Jasmine and made her a card. I used DS for this and cut everything out at 8 inches tall and 5 inches wide. This cut turned out pretty easy!!! =) I mounted it on DCWV blue glitter paper and folded and 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock for the base of my card. I added a pink tag and bling, since PINK is her fav color.

I am also entering this card over at Emma's blog www.creativetimeforme.com She's is having a Throwback Thursday Challenge. Go check it out. She's using Tinkerbell Cart, but I don't have that one. Hope she like my BDay Card!!!

Erin Lee Creative Challenge

Well I was blog hopping and I found a really neat blog www.erinleecreative.com She is having a Halloween challenge sponsored by Oh My Crafts. I have only once before entered a National Scrapbooking Day challenge this past may. So I was very excited to find Erin's website and see that she had a challenge going on this week of her very own. This is my second challenge ever and I am excited to join along!!!!

For this challenge I made a Halloween card using the Seasonal Cartridge October 31st. I cut out the pumkin at 3 inches. All the paper is from Joann's value pack from the paper company. For the green paper I used a embossing folder from the Cuttlebug collection. I added some Halloween ribbon I found at Micheal's, and added some stickles and glitter!!!

I hope you enjoy my card. Hop over to Erin's website to join in on the fun!

Finally got my Cricut Cake!!!

I am taking cake decorating classes with my sista at a nearby cake decorating supply store. Today we learned how to lay fondant on top of an iced cake and learn how to make the fondant flowers. These were a bit tricky but so worth learning. I absolutely loved how my flowers turned out. Well when I got home and look at the cake it was as plain as it could be. All it had was the three flowers on top, right in the center. I wanted to add some leaves and polka dots to it.

Sooooo...I drove as fast as I could to Joann's, (well not as fast as I wanted to, I was going the legal speed limit =) ) bought the Cricut Cake and started to play with it. It was as easy as I hoped it would be. Well I only did cut out some simple leaves and cirlces. What do you guy think?

Doodlecharms

****Click on image to enlarge****
Hey everyone. That time of year is approaching rather quickly. It's by far my favorite time of the year. I can't wait for some Halloween fun!!! I was so inspired by all the wonderful decorations Micheal's and every store out there has to offer, that I decided to make a cute and quick Halloween card. I hope you enjoy it.

I cut out the pumpkin and the spider from Doodlecharms. The banner the spider is holding is from Disney's Princess. The Spider punch is Martha Stewart and the bling is IRock. Lastly, Added some buttons and did some shading and Viola! Isn't it stinkin cute!! Toodles!

Create a Critter

Hello Bloggers! I hope everyone had a wonderful day today. Here is a shape card I made using the cutest panda from the Create a Critter cartridge. Every time I see this cute panda I start singing, "Everyone wants Kung Fu fighting" LOL

This is a cute cut for any Kung Fu Panda fan! I had to add some bling so I used some green crystals from the I-Rock collection and added them to the hat. This card fits easily into an A2 size envelope. I hope you enjoy. Toodles.

Christmas Cheer

HI everyone! This is another post to my "I will use all my cartridges post" The cartridge being showcased here is Christmas Cheer I used the reindeer on page 85. I cut it out at 2.5 inches. I used glossy accents on the hooves and antlers. Also the red nose. =)

I made this card an interactive card. The reindeer spins and moves from right to left when you tilt the card sideways. It is so much fun and super easy to do. I really love this cartridge. It has so many cute Christmas cuts and I can't wait to use it for the Christmas cards I will be working on in the near future! I hope you enjoy this one. Next post: Create a Critter

Beyond Birthdays

Here is a super simple card made using Beyond Birthdays. I used glitter paper for the background, added some ribbon and a punch by EK Success.

ATG!!! Whoo hoo

I finally got my ATG!! I can't wait to use it. I'm so happy. =) Thank you Micheal's.

Animal Kingdom

My first Animal Kingdom cut! I used the last cut of the bunch, the cat. This card was inspired by the stamped that I have from Stampin' Up. I went through my stamps first to see what animal stamp I had to pick the cut from this Cartridge.
This is also the first time I make a Gate fold card. I had seen someone post a card like this in another blog and decided to give it a try. I love it!

Just Because..

Here are a few card I made. The first 2 are just because for the hubby. The zebra was cut out using B is for Boy and the love was cut out using Tie the Knot. The last card was also made for the hubby. I use Every Day Paper Dolls for this one. The Hi card was just a few scraps I had laying around that I wanted to get rid of!

I will use all of my Cartridges!!!

So I decided I was going to use a cut from all of the cartridges I have. I have neglected so many. I have noticed, that I buy just to make sure I have and I have not made a single cut. So I alphabetized them and pulled out the first one. ACCENT ESSENTIALS!

I chose the snowflake cut out and decided I'd make a winter card. I also used the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder and inked it up a bit. Hope you enjoy! Toodles ;)

Once upon a princess

I made the princess castle from Once Upon A Princess with my lovely niece. I Heart her! She picked out the colors and the patterned paper. She also helped with the folding of the creases. If a 5 year old can craft anyone can.
